Quiz Access Control - QuizCreator
With quiz access control you can protect your quiz! In QuizCreator, quizmasters can set up different access levels. The two basic levels of access are password access and preset user account & password access. For advanced access control, you can set up a smart web authentication system by building a user list. In addition, you can also restrict access by limiting your domain name for hosting your quiz.
Go to
QuizCreator -> Quiz Properties -> Access
Access with Password Only:
Create a password for you quiz. Only users who have be provided with this password can log into your quiz.
Access with user accounts and password:
Create preset user accounts, including user ID and password. Only quiz takers with the specified ID and password on the list can have access to your quiz. Your quiz is therefore protected from unregistered users.
Click the Enter key or Add User button to add more accounts.
This feature does require some Admin work, however, we do provide a sample file with source codes for users to build up their own web authentication system. When users log into your quiz, the account info will be checked by the authentication file on the web. Once authenticated, the quiz will be become accessible.
Quiz Hosting Restriction
If you check the option to “Take quiz only from the following domain”, the quiz is executable only from the specified website. If anyone downloads or obtains your quiz, it will become unusable.
