The feature to import Excel documentation is a quick solution to create questions and save your time. How to do it?
QuizCreator includes an Excel template file template.xls to help users create a formatted document that can be imported to the program. You can browse drive (C:) \Program Files\Wondershare\QuizCreator\help\ and find template.xls for reference.

1. Start Mark and End Mark

The start mark and end mark are the signs for the Excel to communicate with QuizCreator and therefore are unchangeable. You need to retain these two cells at the beginning and the end of the worksheet.

2. Question ID & Question Number

Every question type has a unique question ID as assigned in the Excel template. When imported to QuizCreator, the ID will tell it which question type it falls into. This is a required item of a question created in Excel.

Every question created in Excel should have a question number to go with it. And all the question numbers has to be put in order of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6... . Otherwise, they can not be imported to QuizCreator.

3.Quiz Title

The cell next to the the Start Mark is the quiz title.

4. Create a question

To create a question in the Excel document, you need to enter three required items and one optional items.

Required Items:

Question Number, Question ID , Question Content

Optional Item:

Image

QuizCreator has a native feature to let quiz designer to insert a static image or animated Flash to a question. In Excel, this feature is also available. By putting the full file path of the image or Flash in the Image Path, you can add an image to a specific question.

eg:
A image file image.jpg in MyPicture folder of drive C is to be insert to a question, you need to input the full file path to Image Path cell.

Question type of Click Map is not yet able to be created in Excel. Question type of Click Map is not yet able to be created in Excel.

5.Add Answers

True/False Questions

For True/False question, input TRUE and False as the answers. Select an answer item as the correct answer by putting Y in the same row.

Multiple Choice (single answer)

For multiple choice questions, the maximum of answer item is 8. Select a item as the correct answer by putting Y in the same row.

Multiple Choice(multiple answers)

For multiple choice(multiple answers) questions, the maximum of answer item is 8.Select items as the correct answers by putting Y in the same rows.

Fill in Blanks

To add answer to a Fill in the Blanks question, you can add up to 8 answer item and leave the correct answer area blank.

Matching

For Matching questions, you can add up to 8 answers items on the left column and put the corresponding matches on the right column.

Sequence

With a Sequence question, you can put the answer items in random order on the left column and in correct order on the right column. The maximum of answer item is 8.
