Missing Report functionality in QMS

Thanks for your suggestion, Emily.

I discussed the issue with our developers, and we could add a feature of "Role Switch" for Corporate Admin account to switch the role between Instructor and Coroprate Admin in the further release. And the account could be used as Instructor to track results. I hope the solution can really help your situation. Thank you very much.

Printing slides and notes together

Hello,

In PowerPoint 2007 when I try to print slides and notes together the slide is superimposed over the top of the notes and obviously obscures them. I am trying to produce both so the presenter can co-ordinate their speech with the slides.

Any solution(s) gratefully accepted.

Trial Version has Access Violation in Vista x64

I'm not sure if I am missing something during install, but I think there may be an issue with Vista x64 and the DemoCreator software.

After the software was installed (with antivirus turned off during install), when I try to open the program, I immediately get a Windows error that states: "Access violation at address 0068854B in module 'DemoCreator.exe'. Read of address 00000008." The program then starts, but as soon as I try to do anything, or close the intro screen, I get another access violation error message. If I try to perform any action under most of the menu options, I get another. When I click on settings, I get an error that says "Class Not Registered."

Once I close DemoCreator, there is an "Application Fault!" error showing me to the log and dump files. If I let Vista search online for a solution, it says that "This program requires flash.ocx, which is no longer included in this version of Windows," and recommends installing the latest Flash player from adobe. I had flash installed, and used the adobe removal tool to completely remove flash. I then re-installed the latest version. Unfortunately, the problem still exists.

I am eager to get this program working with my main rig so my partner and I can begin trying it out. We would like to use it to create how-to videos on our website, www.thegeekreports.com.

If there are any recommendations that do not involve using a virtual machine, please let me know.

System:
Windows Version: Vista Ultimate x64
Memory: 4GB
HD: Non-raid SATA 3.0 (other HD's are raided though)
Chipset: nVidia 650i Ultra

Software
.NET: framework 1.1 was installed with software, 3.0 is built-in to Vista
Flash version: 9.0.124.0 for Windows
DemoCreator Version: 2.2.0.7 Trial

You may have a glance at Quiz Management System on QMS Quick Tutor. To start using QMS in QuizCreator, just follow the steps below:

1. Set Intro Page to Identify Quiz Takers

In QuizCreator, go to Quiz Properties -> Info; then ensure that "Display Intro page" option is selected. Meanwhile, the option "Display User Mail" must be selected, and DO NOT "Allow anonymous user Mail" to identify every quiz taker in QMS.
* Paticipants need to enter E-Mail to create their QMS accounts.

2. Set Quiz Results Posted to QMS Database

In Quiz Properties -> Result, ensure the posting URL is the default QMS database. Just use the "Default" button to restore the posting URL to default QMS database. Besides, you can also manually fill out the field with folllowing information:

You can select the results sending option "Automatically" or "Manually" as you need.

3. Register and Define Instructor's Account in QMS

In QMS tab of QuizCreator, go to Accounts section. Trial version users can register "Corporate Admin" or "Instructor" accounts in QMS Demo Site, which only stores user database for one month; Full version customers use registration keycode for the "Corporate Admin" account by default, and can register "Instructor" accounts in QMS. All data posted to QMS will be completely confidential and secure in our server side. QMS Privacy and Security Notice >>
* Ensure filling with your registered account and "OK" every time before publishing.
* It's not necessary to register an account every time. Just fill with your registered one.

4. Publish It Now and Start Taking and Tracking

After all settings above are done as well as your quiz, just go to Publish tab to output the quiz in flexible methods. Now all the test results in your quiz will be tracked and reported by QMS properly when the paticipants take the quiz. You can read more details about QuizCreator.

Timing and Animations Off - PPT2Flash Std - Need Fix NOW

This looks like it has been an ongoing problem that has not been corrected. I just did my first conversion yesterday and I have all the problems cited by previous posts with animations not working correctly and a delay of 7 seconds or so between some slides. I run PowerPoint 2002 (10.6819.6839) SP3. I checked and I used the current PPT2Flash Std version of 4.8.0.4. I even re-downloaded the software again to be sure I had a good copy, did the conversion again and still had the same problems. I'm glad I looked here and saw that I am not alone or else I would have been wasting a lot time thinking I did something wrong. From the posts here, this has been an issue since at least June 14 and possibly earlier. ------------ Is there a fix for this or a date for when one will be released? If there is a fix for this, we need it now. If these do not work, the program is useless and our money should be immediately refunded because the product does not perform as advertised and we cannot use it for online presentations.

How to Merge One Project into Another Project by DemoCreator

Wondershare DemoCreator enables users to import one project to another project, so they could merge multiple projects to one. With this feature, users could reuse the existing projects conveniently and easily.

The following is a step-by-step tutorial of how to import one project to another.

1. Click the File menu, then click Import Project button and you will be prompted by a pop-up window.

2. Select an option to import the project.

Import a project before the selected slide: With this option, users could select the slide where to insert the project.

Import a project after this project: With this option, users could import the project at the end of the current project.

3. Select a project to import. Select a project file with ".wdc" extension which was created by DemoCreator to import.

Note: The images folder generated for this project should be under the same folder of the project with ".wdc" extension. If the Flash dimension of the imported project is different from the current project, the imported Flash file would be resized to the same dimension as the current project.

4. Select the slides in the project to import. Users could preview the slide at the same time.

5. After imported, the slides would be listed on the outline panel and marked with "*". Users could rename them manually.

After about one month development, Wondershare released DemoCreator V2.2 with the new feature of merging one project into another project.

What�s new of DemoCreator V2.2:
1. Users could import one project to another, so they could reuse the project conveniently. Go to http://www.sameshow.com/democreator/tutorial/import-project-demo.html to view the step-by-step tutorial.

2. Added an edit button and slide No. on the preview menu. If users find some problems on one slide, they could click the "Edit" button to stop the preview and back to edit the current slide conveniently.
