DemoCreator – Hot key Tips for Screen Recording

Hot keys is set in most screen recorders for easier operation. DemoCreator uses predefined keystroke or keystroke combinations to allow users to “Start”, “End” and “Pause/Resume” the on-screen capture recording process. These hotkeys can be changed according to users' habit.


Here is an alter window when your start your recording:

To Define End and Pause/Resume Hotkeys for Screen Capture:

 

Users can begin their recordings following the guide steps after launching this screen recorder, or they can press control + N to start a now recording project.


The End hot keys are used to end a screen capture session.  The Pause / Resume hotkeys are used to pause and resume an active screen capture session.


When users are doing their recording, they can pause if needed, or they can end the capturing process it the recording is over. Of course users can also double click the DemoCreator icon to stop recording.


To change these hotkeys:
Click the Setting button and select the Hot keys tab and you can see:

In  DemoCreator, there are some preset hot keys such as:
End capture: F10
Slide Preview: Ctrl + P
Demo Preview: F4
Pause/Resume capture: F9


To change these hot keys, please click the input box, and then press the key or key combination. For example, if you want to set CTRL + E as End capture hot key, just press Ctrl and E. And the new keystroke(s) will appear on this input box.

Note:
Capture more:
You have stopped recording, but later you find that you get to capture more, that you can press the Capture button to capture more slides.

Player Hotkey:
Go to the beginning and play: Home
Go to the end of movie: End
Pause: Space
Fast Forward: Up, Right
Fast Reverse: Down, Left
