Make a Software Presentation with Screen Recorder

Most people do not like reading boring technical documentation. We are looking for a better way for software training and presentation than text manual. Guide book with text and screenshot is the tradictional way to tell users how to use the product. But a guide video can show better how your software product is on running! Screen recorder will help. With it you can easily record screen video of your desktop screen.

There is a tutorial of making a presentation created by Wondershare DemoCreator to show how to use PPT2DVD software.

1. Download the DemoCreator.

Install it by all of the default settings.

2. Choose the capture mode
There are 3 capture modes to select: application region, custom region and full screen. Now we select Application region and choose to record the PPT2DVD application, then the red rectangle will snag to the wanted application window.

3. Record
Start to record by click on the “Record” button. You can press F10 to stop recording or you can press F9 to pause if needed.

4. Edit and Enhance the presentation
Once the recording is finished. DemoCreator will import the slides automatically. You can add some interactive objects like callouts, notes and animations to enhance the selected slides. The recording slides are easy to edit. You can insert the new slides or delete unwanted slides, or rerecord the necessary slides. Furthermore, you can reuse some other projects and import them to the current project.

5. Add narration to the presentation
You can choose to record the sound in screen recording or rerecord the audio after your screen recording. Click “Audio” button on the top of tool bar to go to the Audio Timeline Editor, you can edit the audio easily. Besides, you can view the slides at the same time when editing the audio.

6. Publish the demo online
Click “Publish” button on the top to login the publish menu, you can select to publish the output as Flash movie, LMS, Autorun CD, Standalone EXE, or E-mail. As you know, Flash file is of small size and safe in network transmission.
