PowerPoint 2010 is so much awaited, and it’s great to know that Microsoft has given out some information on what’s new in this upcoming release of the world’s leading presentation program. As a big fan of PowerPoint, I am totally shaked by what new features PowerPoint 2010 gives to us!

PowerPoint 2010 provides cool Artistic Effects for photos with live previews. New transitions have been added, and the Animation Painter option copies animations from one slide object to another, and that’s so cool if you have added and fine-tuned your animation sequences and timings for one object and want it repeated on another! There are new video options including reflections for video clips, video trimming capabilities, and new navigation controls. File compression works better and you can save your presentations as video clips. New Slide Sections lets you organize your slides into logical sections. SharePoint integration gets better with the Broadcast feature for slide shows, which lets you show your presentations to other in their web browsers. If you want send the presentation with some videos from PowerPoint 2010 to another people via E-mail, now you can directly reduce the size of the videos with the function of “Compress Media to Low Quality videos”. It is very considerate and convenient for the presentation from PowerPoint 2010 delivering and sharing on Internet.

PowerPoint 2010 multimedia experience allows users to effectively harness storytelling power of audio and video content, with completely revamped media playback technology: insertion, editing, presenting and distribution. Now, the effects that you put on a shape or picture can work on video during playback, not just the first frame. Respecting the z-order of video is another example of this deep integration. Also added playback controls to give you full control over video, and features to help you trim media, integrate with the animation timeline, and even export your PowerPoint 2010 presentation to video.

Even though I used the most vivid and flowery dictions in the world to express how wonderful PowerPoint 2010 is, there is still a question in your mind:”how does PowerPoint 2010 really look like?” Seeing is believing, let’s take a look at the new features of PowerPoint 2010 in this slideshow bellow.

There is still no definite statement that presentation can be directly exported to Flash from PowerPoint 2010, or what kind of format of video PowerPoint 2010 can create. If you really need to convert your presentation to Flash, you can choose some famous converting software to do this job, such as Articulate Presenter, Wondershare PPT2Flash and so on. it could enable you convert PowerPoint to flash with few click and some optional settings. And with this software, you could add narration or even your speech video into your presentation. Your presentation will also be enhanced multimedia experience and it be more vivid and impressive than before.
