My YouTube Plays Well in Chrome: Install Adobe Flash Player for Google Chrome
Filed under General Articles, Tool Tips |
Since the first beta release of the hot Google Chrome, some users have doubted the compatibility of Adobe Flash Player in Chrome, as some YouTube video clips cannot be properly played in Chrome. The issue is so strange, as the same Webkit engine browser Apple Safari has no such problem.
As researched, I think if the Adobe Flash Player for Google Chrome is rightly installed, most Flash-based contents should work just fine as I tested, whatever YouTube or other Flash-based Web pages. Because of different Flash Plugin mechanisms from Internet Explorer, I suggest the new users to install the latest Flash Player 9 Plugin content debugger (for Netscape-compatible browsers) at http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html for Windows or Macintosh. After installed the new Plugin, just restart Chrome to make it work.
I also tested some Flash contents with interactive elements, and all Flash went fine in my Chrome. Below is a Flash-based interactive quiz created by Wondershare QuizCreator, which could be properly played in Google Chrome as I tested:
Good luck!
