Web 2.0 eLearning

It’s not that easy to build up the eLearning 2.0, because we still cannot define what exactly it is. Generally as we talked about here, eLearning 2.0 is the evolution of traditional eLearning and Web 2.0. What’s the collaboration on our experiences on such called Web 2.0 eLearning?

Clark Quinn, PhD describes a great practice about this kind of Web 2.0 eLearning on his blog post “eLearning 2.0. Perhaps we can imagine the smart collaboration and learn some brilliant technological ideas on the future of eLearning.

Here are some excerpt from Dr Quinn’s post about the next generation eLearning that deserves to be developed with Web 2.0 technologies in a perfect learning performance ecosystem.

“The interesting thing is the great spate of tools out there: Google, Central Desktop, Zoho, Wetpaint, PBWiki, an ever growing list. There are suites of web meeting apps, web-based productivity tools, etc. How do you make sense of it? I think there’s another ‘bubble’ with these, and eventually a bunch will fail and out of the ashes a few will persist. The good thing, I think, is that by getting your hands dirty with a variety of these, you’ll access some generalized skills. And web apps are not going away…”
