According to the official schedule, Microsoft is putting the finishing touches on Office 2007 Service Pack (SP) 1 and will roll it out on December 11, next Tuesday. That is, the most critical update for our PowerPoint 2007 is available soon after its one year release.

So what we can expect on PowerPoint 2007 SP1? There’re a few of the rumored PowerPoint 2007 updates:

- More complete Object Model documentation for coding
- Better support for .NET ver 3.5
- Improvements to animated text rendering
- Corection of some compatibility issues with earlier versions
- Minor changes in using DirectX
- And the ususal minor collection of this and that

Just wait one week, and let’s unveil what’s really new in the first service pack of PowerPoint 2007 then.
