You may recording your voice with the sound recorder in PowerPoint (XP/2003/2007), not like the one comes with Windows, it has no time limitation. you may record sound as long as you need. But, the sound recorder requires you ’stay there’, you may not switch to other windows or dialogs, or it will stop. you must concentrate on your recording. And, the sound you recorded becomes as a sound element in the current slide. if you want to narrate you presentation with this tool, it is a tough job. it is difficult for you to synchronize your narration with the presentation. while you using the sound recorder comes with PPT2Flash, it is totally different. you may select the slide you want to be narrated from the slide list, and make the recorder translucent.

when you click the Record button, PPT2Flash launches a independ window that plays slide show of the current slide, you may start recording narrations according to the animations you see in the window, it would be much easier than narrating in PP.
